After a long and active career as a Senior lecturer in Outdoor Education at Bangor University, which included periods as Training Officer, and as Chair of the Professional Standards Committee, for the British Mountain Guides, I have now taken 'retired' guides' status. I am therefore no longer seeking professional guiding commitments, but I am happy to be contacted about personal or voluntary matters relating to mountain adventures.
